Henry David Thoreau once said, “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.”  Darrell was a husband, father and fisherman whose life was made special by his connection to the simplicity of nature.  He found great peace and contentment observing the beauty of the woods and ocean in Maine while awaiting the next big catch.  How fitting that his eyes have now given others the precious gift of sight.  It is comforting to know that the recipients now will have the opportunity to experience the beautiful sight and sounds of nature so loved by Darrell.
